About OFFICE: Whenuakura – Donut – Island Kayak Tour
SurfSup NZL operates guided kayak tours to Whenuakura (Donut) Island, a wildlife sanctuary one kilometre offshore with a turquoise lagoon inside a collapsed volcanic blowhole accessible only by kayak or paddleboard through a narrow cave entrance. Guided tours depart from Island View Road at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm daily (weather permitting), take approximately two hours, and include kayak, lifejacket, dry bag, and optional wetsuit. They also offer freedom kayak hire and rent surfboards, SUPs, and bikes from their shop at 227 Beverley Terrace.
